Hi,

I applied visiting visa for my parents from india

old application: july 20th
biometrics done: sept 1st
new application: sept 9th
passport request: sept 13th

So, quick question I paid biometric fee twice for both old and new application. So, how to request refund for that and for which application do i need to request for refund?

For biometrics, you do not have to change the country of residence. Once you receive a biometrics instructions letter, you can give your biometrics in any country. Just search for the options in the US in the state your parents will be in.

Only if your parents will be in the US for a long time, i.e. 3-4 months or more, then you should update their address by sending a web form.

Thanks for the precise information @legalfalcon. Yes, they are going to stay at least 5-6 months for the entire period of their visit. I will send a web form to the IRCC updating their country of residence.

Can anyone confirm if this ruling also applies for Supervisa?

I applied for Supervisa for my parents a month ago after a hard struggle of gathering all the documents. It would be a pain to go through the process again

I added a request letter to prioritize application for reunification with immediate family members in Canada. +added proof of full vaccination and proof of relationship docx.

Hi everyone,
I'm in need of some advice. I'm in a bit of a situation where my agent applied a new application through GC key on 10th September and didn't inform me on time. Not knowing this, I personally reapplied through portal on 13th September.
There has been no activity in both applications. Should I let this be? Or is it better to withdraw the 10th September application?
Please advice
