@laxsun @robertp You can update my status as we have received "medical request" as of August 20th which my parent did on 4th Sept. We also received another email on 10th Sept that our processing office is CPC-Mississauga.

Question: Should I scan and upload all previously submitted documents on cic website or only if anything has changed?
Also, do we need to wait for PCC request or is there a Pro-active way to get and submit it (Country: India)

If your LVO is CPC-M, they should have requested PCC in the SA letter (email received in Sep 10) in a generic way.
Normally they ask PCC, travel history and CV.
If they have not asked, you can send PCC pro-actively.

Hi everyone, I just received the biometrics instruction letter for my mother's PR. Apparently it was sent out last year but we never received it, so they have sent the same letter again dated November 2020. Can we still use this to do biometrics ? Or we need to have a new instruction letter generated ?

You need biometrics requisition letter with bar codes to do biometrics. You can call Service Canada if you can do in the old letter.

can anyone help me with this. My parents got PR card but the portal still shows application is in progress. Any idea why ?
They also didnt receive eCOPR they only received a letter saying you are now permanent residen like virtual landing and requested to submit that letter with photos for PR card, that was completed and PR card was received but the online account still shows application in progress. Not sure why ? Any expert advise please ? Do I need to do anything ? Or call IRCC ? Do I need eCOPR for any reason ?

COPR is most important document for your parents. If they have not received yet, call or write to get it.

For those who received their parents' immigrant visa, can you tell me how long visa is valid for? Is it valid till medical expiry?

my parents are valid til their medical expired next year.

“ Current residential address for yourself and dependent
Question: Do they need a proof, or just a statement to confirm the address of my mother? She is in China, I am in Canada. If they do need a proof, what should I provide? Do I need to translate from Chinese to English, or have it done by a certified translator?

Just reply email they have sent. The intention is to know if your parents are here in Canada now.

It asks for details of the applicant and the enquirer information. I guess in this case, should I fill out my mom's detail as the applicant information and mine in the enquirer information?

Hello guys,
I have 2 questions for those invited to apply for 2019.
So you must have been required to provide income proof for 206,2017 and 2018 I presume.

1. Did they ask to provide income for 2019 i.e the year you received the invitation?
2. Is there anybody who had an income in 2019 lower than the minimum required income but had enough income for the previous years? If yes how did you address that ?

Yes thats correct for sponsorship and subcategy
Your moms details will go as PA
and you are the enquirer if you are sponsor or designated represntative on file

Hello, We has received biometrics request. We completed it within a week of the request. When I log into ‘myCIC’, I see the Biometrics status as ‘We are waiting for Biometric. Check messages’. However under the name of applicant in myCIC, I see biometric number, expiry date etc. Can I assume that biometric has been submitted and the status change in myCIC takes time?

Also the coapplicant on our file expired before all these processing started. Through web form I submitted the death certificate. GCMS notes confirm that death certificate is attached to the application. But I continue to receive request for medical test of co applicant who has expired. Anything I should be doing?

Can you please update the sheet with following status:

Biometrics Request Date was August 9, 2021 and Completion Date August 17, 2021

Medical Request Date was August 13, 2021 and Medical Results Date September 6, 2021.


Just a question, I have asked my Parents to go ahead and get the Police Clearance Certificate. Will CIC be requesting it get it done ? Should I wait for that ?

Hi, seeking help again. I have been asked to submit sponsor's birth certificate which i don't have. I submitted 10th education certificate and expired Indian passport as proof of relationship to my mom. is there any alternate for it? Thanks

You can submit a affidavit stating you don't have a birth certificate.
