How long it takes from BG completed to the other step ? Is it test invite ? How long it takes

As I have shared previously this varies by local office processing your application, it could be within weeks or months.

It provides instructions about uploading the photo ID, your picture and how the test will show, it is multiple choice and all steps you will need to take.

When you receive the test invite you will be directed to their website: https://ct-tc.apps.cic.gc.ca/?lang=en

You can start reading the Discover Canada book online or you can order a hardcopy as well . There are many free citizenship test that will help get prepared for the test., there is a sticky thread in this forum that have a lot of resources, summary of the book in English and French and links to many other websites to practice the test.

Read the Discover Canada book at least twice, and then do practice tests. You can read the guide online, download the pdf or order a printed copy for free

Hi guys, quick question... We are a family of 4 (3 adults, 1 child) who applied together via paper application with following status updates:

App received: 18 March 2021.
AOR: 8 July 2021
In Progress (old ECAS): 25 August 2021
Background verification completed: 27 Aug 2021 for 3 adults

But on the minor application it shows Background verification still In Progress. Is this normal or is it suppose to be Completed as well?

App received: 18 March 2021.
AOR: 8 July 2021
In Progress (old ECAS): 25 August 2021
Background verification completed: 27 Aug 2021 for 3 adults

But on the minor application it shows Background verification still In Progress. Is this normal or is it suppose to be Completed as well?

Same for me, no worries there is rarely a BG check for minors.

You won't see any changes in the tracker until you application has been approved that is normal.

No, interview is required only in some cases, you will need to wait now until IRCC validates your test and then depending on your local office it could be interview, photocopies of passport request or Oath invitation. Congratulations on passing the test!

This is such good news, thank you for putting my mind at ease over this issue. One thing less to worry about
