Hope so! Everyone should post any good news they see here.

When I called quite a few weeks ago, IRCC told me many staff had to stay home, and that not all work can be done remotely, and that was contributing to the backlogs. They said they weren't sure when staff would come back into the office.

I really hope now with vaccine levels being where they are, and with the Feds talking about mandatory vaccinations for Federal workers, that IRCC is getting back to decent processing capacity. It seems these backlogs are huge, so the sooner they get to it, the better for us all. New apps won't stop coming. If only they'd make some statements about the FSW situation in particular. Maybe the border reopening will result in that.

Hope we get to hear something soon enough particularly after border reopening. And yes I guess the mandatory vaccination policy may facilitate return of staff to offices.

Yeah hopefully. I expect them to reach out to all outlanders once border reopens, it’s been months of no communication and cluelessness. Height of incompetence

Liberals have the slight advantage in terms of potential seats won; Liberals would likely win with a minority

Don't worry if the conservatives win. They're fully supportive of FSW, yet not that much supportive of refugees. This is liberal propaganda saying that convervatives are against immigration. Conservative party is the very party who created the express entry system.

No for me. I called IRCC more than a month ago no change in my status.
I am expecting something now.
Meanwhile a outland FSW COR Australia got a updated med status online. His AOR is March 2020.

I do see some posts here and there about movement of some sort. But still not convinced. Lets see something is churning in the background I guess.

That’s great. I am wondering though what about those whose security is passed but application has been pending final decision for a long time. Will we need to submit new PCCs?

VO will ask for them if needed I guess before making a final decision.

I often see some in Kubeir group.. mostly late 2019 or early 2020 AORs or expired COPRs..

idk mate.. they say the PPRs/remed requests are on hold due to the officers having to do remote work.. but doesn't explain why other VOs which are fully open physically aren't sending out PPRs

on top of that.. the entire drama of sending "do you still wish to immigrate to canada" to people who have been waiting for years is nothing but sheer waste of time !

Got my latest set of gcms notes. No activity since i ordered the last one in April. But, on the plus side in addition to eligibility and criminality passed, I see some text in the security field almost blanked. It would like to think it shows passed (last gcms had this totally blank). So all stages passed for me I guess.

But the thing I don’t understand is when I raised a webform in between, my VO said “your application is currently awaiting further review”. Shouldn’t be the case if all stages have passed right?
