The same is the case with the US. These countries failed to promote STEM education while Asian countries are producing millions of STEM graduates for fun. There is often a narrative in the Western Countries, especially those who pose as nationalists that Asian STEM graduates aren't talented enough. I wonder how they measure talent.

It's all politics. China is conquering the world and US don't like that. The earlier they accept the better though.

Reminder that the Afghan emergency will also be in place till...end of 2021? By then IRCC will be solely focused on this noble cause barring allocating ~10% max of the staff for trickling PNP/CEC draws

Well, it's just their SOP nothing more nothing less. Can't take calls, won't have time to respond to webforms, will keep delaying issuance of notes etc etc. One may wonder if they only have <= 100 staff members in operation rn, coz it makes perfect sense that way.

They also told MPs enquiring on behalf of applicants to wait indefinitely so...
