Ottawa here too, still waiting for test invite. Background status changed to completed on June 14th is the last update I see. Optimistic me from the last winter thought I'd have citizenship by the end of this summer... now fingers crossed it can be wrapped up by the end of the year, but I'm not gonna hold my breath!

Hi everyone. New to this forum. May 10th, 2020 single application from Toronto. AOR Sept 29,2020. IP ecas Jan 15, 2021. Everything else (Language skills, physical presence, background verification, prohibition) all say IP since then. From what I see here many May 2020 applicants have received background complete and interview dates months and months ago. Getting anxious about delay on my file. Any suggestions whether/how I should reach out to the processing office? Thanks in advance!

Delay might be due to background check. Not all officers allow to take test before its complete. Apply for gcms notes to see if any notes available on why its pending.

Seems to me the processing timeline is dependent on the individual locations, but that too is so not organized.
My file is being processed at the Kitchener office- GCMS notes say "Test Ready Shelf" since May 2021, but no test invite yet. I've seen on tracking spreadsheets that family applications from Kitchener from May and June have got test invites already.
