Hey! I submitted my application at 12.15 p.m EST (IG) and still no AOR and couldn't link either, so I wonder what do you mean with "they won't process ours"? or do you think it'll take years? I prefer to wait but if it'll take years.... that's scary...
call them if they say they can't find it on the system that essentially means that your application is part of 7300 additional applicants that applied. What does this mean? it means now they have to take those application manually out of the pool (pool of submitted applications). God knows when they are going to push officers to now turn their attention to this pile while there are huge backlogs of other applications such as PNP, CEC and FSW plus refugees from afghanistan. It means it can take a very long time and at best undecided at this point.

Congrats...

I also have the PR portal and the application has been linked to my portal and I could do self-declaration and photo upload.
Did you receive the portal credential email or we should not expect to receive that if we already have a PR portal?

I really appreciate your help
Thanks!

In my case, I already had an account created in the PR portal.
  • August 25 at 2:15PM(EST) received portal email, I replied back email within 30 minutes
  • August 25 at around 5:30PM (EST) I was randomly checking my PR portal and my application was linked there. I had everything ready, updated my address, self-declaration and photo
  • August 26 at 3:38PM(EST) received an email of PR confirmation(eCoPR) though my photo is being reviewed by IRCC
Hope this helps. :)

and I suggest everyone to create an account here: https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/signup if you are waiting for PR portal email. This will save your 2-3 days of process.

How long it took your application to show up on portal ?

Actually, I did not know that it will link to my current portal so I did not check for like a week.
After a week thanks to Pixelyyz, I checked today and saw the application was already there.
I never received the other email that is called portal credentials.

Hello friends,
I appreciate if anyone can answer,
I applied through the representative I’m asking them to try linking to their portal with my uci and family name but they are saying they can can’t link without AOR , I applied at 12:40 , if I link from my gc key will it be a problem? Or can I try to link from my end and then reach out to the lawyer?
Thanks advance

Thanks for the reply .
So you are saying when I get an AOR ,it also mention about the change of status, right ? So In case I get AOR by the time ,I could raise a webform and let them know, I got married. What if I didnt receive AoR , should I wait till I get an AOR?
Is there any particular form or documents I need to attach with the webform , stating information about my spouse?. And also does it gonna affect the normal processing and how long does it take more to process.?
It will certainly, since you're adding new info to your application, how long, no one knows.

Hi All,

Please note the following information. It may provide more clarity to a cluster of people on this forum.

1) If anyone did not receive an AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt), but confirmed their "Application No." through any means: Linked Application to GCKey secure account, Biometric Instruction Letter (BIL), or IRCC agent has confirmed this information.

Do not worry, AOR is just mere a confirmation letter that IRCC has received your application and begun processing it. AOR is sent by the system automatically once an agent or case analyst start working on an application and sometimes applicant receive their AOR in the middle of processing of their application or it may also be possible that an applicant never receive an AOR.

2) Applicants can submit their documents/information via IRCC webform after receiving their "Application No." otherwise IRCC will not consider your sent documents/information.

Important Tip:

Please kindly make sure to search this forum about your specific questions. It is highly possible that an answer to your question has been already posted, but in case you do not find answer to your questions or concern then feel free to go ahead to post your questions.
Hi
I applied through representative at 12:40, I asked them to link my application with uci and family name but they are not trying because they say only can link after AOR, if I link from my gc key will it be a problem on the later on stages . After if I link can I share the information ? How to go next step I want to remove my representative if possible because they are not responding properly. Any suggestions?
thanks in advance

I do understand and I am not denying that there are some important informations. But this is wrong thread. Getting an important information, did not mean that questions have been asked and answered are on the right platform. When someone is asking something regarding express entry, people are saying this is wrong thread. so that means this thread is also wrong for information and discussion about TR to PR. It is a timeline thread only and people can use or create discussion thread of TR to PR.
I have been following this thread since the begining and nobody have had issues with anyone discussing the topics related to tr to pr. When you said they should find the answer to the query on the previous pages…. Try and check the pages a month after may 6 everyone was asking about everything and most of them got answers.
FOLLOW WHAT YOU ARE SAYING STOP POSTING YOUR POSTS AGAIN AND AGAIN PLEASE!!
