Red text: Did you receive email or where do you see that?
I dont think that cic even got chance to review your request. So you will have to wait for 10-15 days minimum.
You may or may not get response for urgent request. Sometimes they respond to you saying they forwarded your request to local office and they will take action. Sometimes there wont be any response but local office might contact you if they approve your request. Sometimes without response they will make your application progress fast and move it next stages quickly in days/weeks. But i think that if your background check is complete then it will move fast if they approve your request.

AOR: Aug 17th
Inprogress on new tracker: Aug 18

I received email today. Nothing new on the tracker. It has Updated on Aug 18th. @harirajmohan

Hello @ankz001 , did you put up any request for urgent processing at all? I'm just trying to figure out if every online applicant is getting this mail or if they specifically picked our applications for further processing.

No mine is just a regular application.

That email is being sent to all applicants (online / paper) to register in the new dashboard, even if you have previously registered. This is not related to your Urgent processing request.

After login I see on top:
Your citizenship application status Updated: August 19, 2021
Your citizenship application status: In progress

So Got AOR on 18 & In progress on 19

Hi, Congratulations on securing your citizenship raj, so happy for you. I had put in a CSE with IRCC on Sunday (2 days ago) & submitted about a dozen letters that prove my need for an urgent processing of online citizenship application. I got my AOR on Aug 16th. As of this morning I got this:

Follow the progress of your citizenship grant application / email from them at 5.54 AM. My application has been in process from Aug 18th & I haven’t seen any ‘ghost update’ since then. I logged into citizenship test portal & looks like I can’t take the test yet.

Does this mean my application is going somewhere or every online applicant will get this after AOR? I will call CIC at 8 am to confirm but you guys know this better than anyone else.

You'll have to wait for your webform response (takes something like 8 - 10 days). Once they respond via the webform, it means that the request has been attached to your file for officer's consideration. There isn't an acknowledgement for Urgent processing. Once you receive the webform response, give it a couple of weeks and then call IRCC to check if UP request was approved.
