We got the pre arrival last July then they semt the medical request after

we got the passport back at Homs alhamdulillah.
Inchaa Allah yours will be soon.
just to let you know how we did it and it took us less than a week.
we took an appointment on the chat with Beirut vfsglobal.
from Homs we sent the passport with a taxi driver to a friend of mine in Beirut.
he took the passport to the vfsglobal and gave his postal address for the return (because they don't accept a pickup, they only send the passport by post to a Beirut address ).
so you will have a tracking number and you will receive email with status.
the whole process took less than a week, and my friend got the passport with the other paperwork.
he gave it to the taxi driver and my wife got it in Homs the end of the day.
PS : in the PPR they gave us a choice between vfs (Beirut, Amman or Erbil), and we choose Beirut.
and in the chat with vfsglobal I asked them if they are going to send the passport to Amman, the lady asked me to send her the PPR email, I did, and she went to ask for a few minutes and came back to tell me that the Beirut embassy is going to process the Visa, I think this is why it was quickly done.

ohh i know its really expensive, i studied in tourism so i always chek for tickets, in september it will start to drop i can chek that for you if you want

dont even worry 24h its too much -.- i just came back from syria in february im use to it, ill try to find a good deal and ill let you know

i think there is no specific time. every application has his own timeline. I'm in the same boat. my application received March 2020 and my file moved to amman vo November 2020 but I didn't get medical until now.

hi guys just to let you know, on canada spousal sponsorship facebook page theres a guy from amman vo and this is his timeline -.- i think sponsoring your wife is wayyyy easier than a husband. i wish my husband was a girl haha

Turkish Airline fly directly from Istanbul to Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal.
Same thing with Egypt air, But you have to book a month ahead to get a good price otherwise it'll be expensive
I think the cheapest would be the egyptian airline but the turkish is better and more organized.
