The pause is still technically on. According to those internal memos and documents released recently, until the borders are reopened to allow foreign travelers, IRCC would not issue PPRs/COPRs. What we are seeing now is just the trickle. Since PPRs are usually sent in batches we can hope to see many more getting issued soon when restrictions are lifted

Yeah I guess it aligns to the fact the extra 3 months extension would expire end of August. So hopefully PPR trickle to continue until border reopening and then the rain to begin post that. Hope there are no changes in the 7th Sept date.

Yes and the countdown is on with less than 3 weeks to border reopening. Hope things stay that way.

September 7 -the date that Canada plans to reopen the border to fully vaccinated travelers coming from anywhere outside Canada
