I think I can corroborate your experience given what I believe is going on at that Federal building/IRCC office at Bay street.

when i call the call center and ask to who i can escalate this, they say to NO-ONE, to COVD :)))

The test is not always issued by the processing office
My sister in law processing office is Hamilton
Her test invitation came from Vancouver office

Trust me, even IRCC doesn't know the answer to this question!!!!

It just seems to be an exception. Once IRCC starts sending more test invites for online applicants (who applied after Dec 14th), we might get a better idea to estimate for our 27th/28th Dec applications. But still its a very good sign that Dec 21st online applicant got the test invite.

On the negative side, I noticed that the applicants waiting for the ceremony (last step), are getting oath invitations with 4-month future dates. Hopefully it improves by the time we reach that step.

Still a long way to go, so lets just hope we move to the next step (the test invite) soon.

Hi all,

I got a notification on my application status tracker for taking the citizenship test. It says I have been scheduled to take the test between August 20th 2021 and September 9th 2021. I however still haven't received the email for the test invitation.

I have called the Citizenship and Immigration Canada to verify status of my application, they have mentioned that I was scheduled to take the test however they have no record of sending me an email as well. I was given a backup link that I could use to sign-in and take the test using UCI and the Application Number. Did this happen to anybody else here? Is it possible to receive the email from now until the 20th? I though I would received the email before the tracker status is updated (The latest status update was on August 17th).

I have applied online on December 31st 2020.

Thank you for your help.

My test invitation email came 2 days prior the test window. so you can expect it anytime now.
