Copied from Facebook Group(My husband got call from IRCC today to confirm if he can attend in person oath ceremony on aug 25, 2021. He asked if you are fine with in person oath ceremony and that he has to bring his vaccination proof
He mentioned it is first batch of 15 people to be called to be physically present for ceremony . Rest of the details were to be sent in email
We applied together, it is weird I didn’t receive any call. The status online is ceremony not started for both of us. My husband has not received any email yet.
Has anyone else got such a call? Doesn’t look like a scam as no personal details were asked

So, probably the urgent processing is working in your favor. Expect a call from a private or unknown number. Not everyone receive this but if you see your phone ringing, answer, might be IRCC calling .

I hope you get an oath date soon.

Yup, this was discussed in several threads. It is good that they are starting in-person ceremonies. Once they start increasing the numbers and hold in-person and virtual oath ceremonies in parallel, that'll help decrease the backlog.

Yes, that was me.
No, I am still outside, but I can book a ticket to come once I have a date. I am fully vaccinated since more than 2 weeks, so my travel should be fine. Hopefully.

How long does it take to get the oath from DM made ?? Got my status change update today and a DM on the older Ecas

It's been 30 days since the submission of travel document copies. No update yet on the application.

IRCC contact centre does not have any update other than what I see online.

The agents do not see the copies I sent over email under my file and webform didn't really help. I have one email id for my family application and they responded saying "since multiple people are connected to single email, they will not be able to process the webform."

I guess only option is when the case officer looks into it.

There is no Ghost update for passport request. Passport request is sent via email only and doesn't show up on the dashboard. Ghost updates are for items displayed on the status dashboard (like test, physical presence, prohibitions, language and oath).

Generally, they give 30 days to submit documents but some people have been provided with 14 days (I saw 2 posts yesterday mentioning this).
