Finally got an update from April 23. I got updated with citizenship test date scheduled from Aug 13- Sept 2. Rest everything is in progress exceptt background check completed

Hello, I have the same test date as you and I am preparing to do the test by 28th of this month. Pls contact me when you do your test.

Just asking, fp request can be down outside Canada too?

I think candidates getting the FP request during citizenship application processing would have not submitted their biometric FP during their PR application processing, though it was optional for PR application few years before.

1) Read Discover Canada at least a couple of times

I got a request for PR as well as citizenship. Even tho I submitted a FBI report I was asked for fingerprint from RCMP(I was in Canada for just 9 days tho before my PR)

No, I have fingerprint request in both PR application and now in Citizenship application.
