I am looking for Tech Nation visa, I can qualify for it. My employer has a massive presence in UK and is very mobility friendly so Tier-2 option is also there for me.
There was no internet in Canada in 2018 so no it wasn't processed with EE. Dark ages when you had to use a physical envelope to put your money into the ATM.
I'll still take UK over Canada because two major advantages: 1. UK has FAR better STEM job market 2. UK is FAR closer to the rest of the world so it's easier and cheaper to travel.
In all honesty, STEM or rather CompSci and IT jobs are slowly becoming location agnostic. Companies like Stripe, Slack, Facebook are looking more and more for remote workers. Though it wont go totally remote but its a start. It is no longer ridiculous to suggest a remote working work force in 2021. Once, it was simply laughed at.

STEM and CompSci&IT are fundamentally different. CompSci&IT will go remote fast, most STEM will take more time. You can't be a test engineer (I don't mean software test, I mean physical test) and test your machine remotely. Canada has a pathetic STEM job market.
CompSci&IT should have gone remote in 2010 BUT suits never liked that idea... till a major pandemic hit. Now they have seen it actually works and may be cost effective so a lot of talking heads in stupid companies like McKinsey & Co or Bain etc are making 10 slides presentation with 4 quadrants on how remote working can be a "strategic transformation" in "fundamental business processes". Fuck Harvard, Fuck its MBAs and Fuck McKinsey & Co.

So, you still have a RR for eligibility? I'm sure the documents you sent were attached to your file. Once an officer (not an agent) picks your file up for review, he won't ignore the updated bank statement.
I haven’t asked for notes and the last time was April. I think what I find upsetting is that , I added a buffer, included a print screen of xe converter advising the rates.
It was after I submitted that I was privy to IRCC’s converter.
The same thing happened to me! I noticed the error in my reference letter a week after submission and sent in an updated SOA. The webform was acknowledged but the updated SOA was never updated. I was on a very hot seat that month o but I also feel I wouldn't have been sent BIL if I didn't meet the POF requirements.
