I applied for a study permit from India and currently my passport has been dispatched back from the IRCC office. My application was also updated yesterday with status as approved and there was a new row (Document status) that had visa expiry date and other details. However, I still haven't received the POE/Correspondence letter under messages section. Any idea how much time would it take or is there some problem ?

It can take up to 48 hours after the issuance of your counterfoil. My best guess is that you will receive it the day you receive your passport, at the latest
I've read a few cases of students in your situation and they were fine. If the immigration officer asks you for one, you can tell him/her that you didn't receive it in your GCkey account.
