Good luck everyone!
Honestly, i was expecting mine to come around next week too bc they took forever to process may 18 applications. So good luck to everyone whos waiting!!
Hey Guys,
Hope you’re well. I applied for my PGWP in the first week of June and I’m very anxious about it.
Would someone be able to provide me some insight if I’m still eligible for the PGWP in the following situation:
- I start a co-op work term in a semester (with a co-op work permit), but then half way in the semester, my university tells me to stop working due to a health/medical reason.
However, after stopping the co-op work term in the semester, I return back to full-time courses and maintain my full time student status in that very semester. (I have a failed grade for the coop work term on my transcript and pass for the other classes in the semester).
(I eventually finish the co-op term in a later semester because I can’t graduate from the co-op program without completing the co-op work term course)
In this situation, will I be eligible for a PGWP since I continued to maintain full time student status in the semester? Or will the co-op work term that I stopped halfway in the semester due to a medical reason impact my PGWP negatively?
Application submitted - May 19th

I haven't received the document. It just says that it is approved and the work permit number. I did not receive any emails when these changes were made. I had to login, to check.
Application number - 6226**
