That varies. Currently, most people getting oath notifications are 2019 and some early to mid 2020 applicants. So, I'd say it might take a while. I'd expect a wait of at least 2 to 3 months or more for getting a oath notification.

Also, just as a FYI, currently for 2019 and early to mid 2020 applicants, the oath ceremony is being scheduled for October and November.

Received fingerprint request on August 4, submitted them on Aug 5

Hello, Can anyone please suggest the place in GTA approved by IRCC for fingerprint request? Is there any appointment or walk in is also accepted? Planning to give fingerprint today for the request received on 30th July. I was out of Brampton since last week. Any quick help will be appreciated.

There is frustration and wait at every turn. Myself and my wife both took the test on the same day. While her test is shown as completed, my status still shows that it is waiting on me to complete the Citizenship test. Don't know what the issue and how long I have to wait for the retest / interview etc., which obviously is going to delay the case for me and my family.....am sure people are still waiting for the test invites (all the more frustrating)...for sure some of us have completed the test and waiting for decision made and again for those decision made....some awaiting ceremony dates.....with COVID cases climbing once again.....am sure the process is going to be disrupted still.....So I guess, patience and hope are the only tools we have to tide over this..

A minor update from my adventures in speaking with the MP of my area to inquire on the status of my citizenship application on my behalf. Let's see where this rabbit hole goes....

Agree. As i said and patience is a virtue that we all need to hold on to.....nothing else can be done.

Still April 23rd april is the last update. Not sure what's going on !!! At least they can arrange the test for all applicants to give us some hope !. Pretty upset

You bet, for me as well. Its so annoying.
