I'm so concerned about my boys application. AOR was 27 Jan and now everything is IP. Does IP mean all the documents were received and there won't be any return? Anyone knows?
AOR means there wont be any return of application.
For any additional documents they will email. Not sure if you know about new application tracker, if not register and know the progress(whenever it happens) https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login
Hello,
We have sent our application end of oct 2020 and our files have been in process since 5th march 2021. My Background check is complete but not for my spouse and 2 children. All other status are still in progress. Is it worth applying for ATIP Online Request notes now knowing that it can take 2 months to get it? will this further delay our processing times? or not worth taking the risk and just keep waiting.

If there was something missing they would return the file before sending AOR. Once opened, any requested document can be sent alone to be added to the file.
Sorry to disagree, but what @harirajmohan said is right. Application wont be returned after issuing AoR, unless its withdrawn by the applicant. All missing (rarely the case) or additional documents will be requested after this point.
AOR does mean that the application WILL NOT be "returned" for being incomplete. It can be "refused" later if the applicant doesn't meet the requirements. But "returning" is NOT the same as "refused". So, @harirajmohan is right - Once you receive AOR, your application will NOT be returned to you for being incomplete.
1. Extremely unlikely (Practically, No).
2. Can't say. That depends on a lot of factors. Expect it'll take at least a couple of months to get an oath date.
i just spoke to cic agent my office is missisauga and they have not requested anything more from my side.
had 2-3 previous addresses agent was really helpful they expired old ones on my file and also my method of communication was mail and she changed it to email.
I have a question for the group. I'm seeing you spoke about what is your CIC agent or CIC office; however, I don't know how you know that. I applied for my citizenship with my family. We applied by paper, we live in Clarington, Ontario.
Can you please explain me how you know what are your CIC agent and office?

He/She is talking about the call centre. Just call the client suppport center and ask for your local office and they will tell. Call in the morning 8am to get hold of the phone line. We dont have specific agent for the file. Our file gets transferred to local office after sometime of receipt number issuance. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...orate/contact-ircc/client-support-centre.html
