They said can take up to 6 weeks lol. But that is standard maximum time. I hope it is much less than that.

How can an office be absolutely numb on the applications??? Understaffed means some work atleast, it dosent mean no work at all. If this is the mentality the future is dark. The problem is following other threads will not help as the whole endgame is based on local office. So annoying, frustrating and irritating

Welcome to government workers in Canada. My spousal PR application took like a year longer then it should as well from KW.

I did follow up with my MP's office and they did some follow up with the immigration department which told me my file is test ready waiting to be called. Nothing new!

Yes. Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph applications are processed by Kitchener office.

dang that is depressing to know. Nov 2020 applicant here, my BG is complete since April 2021. I guess I am in for a long wait.

I am a November 2020 applicant too and my background check was completed in April as well. Been waiting sense. I wish I would have applied through Alberta it's faster in there. Kitchener sucks

i guess one just needs some address while applying. could have given some friends address.

It looks that way. I am going to change my address to London Ontario hopefully that will help
