It has been already 1 week since I received my 2nd GU (Background changed back to Processing). Still no portal email or further update. Is this normal? Almost everybody who got 2nd GU the same day with me received their portal email already.

I received GCMS notes and it says Criminality and Security not started since July 06, 2021. My eligibility passed on June 29, 2021 and the status is "Ready to Finalize". Can someone tell me what this status means? Is biometrics required for Criminality check apart from PCC.

You are in final stages for PR . You can expect good news anytime soon. Provided your medicals are good now and officers takes it for final review and approve it .
some applicants they observe these changes , it means bgc either started or inprogress . If it’s changing for third time(ip2) then u r in final stages ?
Word of caution , now a days ip1 na ip2 stages are not totally valid .

After 2nd GU, I called IRCC, which was last week and an agent told me that everything passed but security had not started. I am not expecting portal email soon Maybe your second GU was meaning everything passed and waiting for the final decision
