can someone tell me in work permit for Tr to Pr what they mean up to 4 months before their work permit expires?
Do they mean you can't apply if you have valid work permit that does not expire soon?
or they mean you can't apply if your work permit expire soon? I think the first one correct but enlighten me.

Here is the link:

you can't apply if you have valid work permit that does not expire soon

Yes, if the WP is expired within 4 months, should apply now. (You can apply up to 4 months before your current work permit expires.)

you need 1560 over a year which is 52 weeks.
1 week= 30 hours per week full time
52 *30 =1560.

If you work less than 30 hours per week then just add all those hours together and add them to the 30 hour weeks until you reach 1560.
It will take longer than 52 weeks of working.
I know that I am talking about apart from hours they also want 1 year equivalent. So even though I have more than 1560 hours. For PT on CIC website, they've only listed 15hrs/week taking 2 years to complete. So my question is if above 15 hrs, which is 20 hrs/week, will it be considered 2/3 of FT week or 1/2 of FT week

Hi everyone, I applied for PR via the TR to PR stream at about 11 pm Atlantic time, I feel like it`s going to take months to get t my application at this rate. However, by August 10 I would have gained 1-year work experience. Please can I withdraw my TR to PR application and do I get a refund? Thanks

Till Yesterday, I was trying to link, but I couldn't. Since morning I didn't try, but in the afternoon, I suddenly received an email with my AOR in it.

All you have to have is 1560 hours in one year within last three years. That means you can work all 1560 hours in 65 days (working all 24 hours) and then sit till 1 year passes and then you can apply or all other types of variation they don't care if you worked 20-10-30 hours per week.

I don’t think that’s what it means. You need to have worked 1560 hours over a period of at least 12 months or 52 weeks. I really don’t understand what you wanna calculate by 1/2 FT or 2/3 FT. It doesn’t really matter. Any hours worked above 30 for the week won’t be counted. If someone worked 40 hours for 50 weeks for a total of 2000 hours, they are not eligible. As per the rule they only worked 50 weeks x 30 = 1500 hours which is less than 1560 hours needed.
if someone worked 20 hours one week and 40 hours next week, it will be counted as 20+30 and not 20+40.

Hello,
when did you apply and for which steam?
If you withdraw before they start processing you get the full refund:
https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/refund.asp
If they start processing you get half back.

For TR to PR essential workers stream, they count every hour you worked, but you have to work at least 1560 hours for at least a year, the maximum 30 hours a week counted doesn’t apply to this steam, like you work 20 hours this week, 40 hours next week, they will count 60 hours instead of 50 hours, it’s just if your 1560 hours were accumulated less than a year, then you won’t be eligible.
