Hey guys, got my gcms notes, I think its gonna take more time for the decision:
AOR: Feb 17 CEC-inland, no dependants
Primary Office: Vancouver Immigration
Secondary Office: Centralized Intake Office (I guess its Sydney, NS. Transfer reason: workload re-distribution)
NOC - 2174
Eligibility: Not started
Security: Not started
Medical: passed
Biometrics: updated in portal on the 13th day after AOR, taken for work permit
Info sharing: In progress
Criminality: In progress ( Complete, but not reviewed)


Called IRCC during june 1st week, they said backgrounds checks are being performed. Please let me know if anyone is in the same boat. Thanks

I think we have the same local visa office as Ottawa, and I am living in Ottawa now. I have all updated since 18 June and haven't heard any from them.

Raised a webform and received confirmation that everything is verified and waiting for a final decision. Any chance you know if the local visa office or the primary office will make the final decision. Not sure what happened with VO Ottawa as it used to be very fast ...

Received GU yesterday. Additional documents changed from- we are reviewing to not applicable.
Does anyone know what that mean. Is this any update?

so one thing is clear, our file processed outside Ontario, and for final decision it's been transferred to Local VO!!

seems like most of the portal emails come from LVO. my webform response was that application is still in progress... GCMS notes i got yesterday still shows last update June 18th

Still Montreal, only secondary VO changed to Ottawa IRCC from CIO

I am sure there must be some process difference, some people receive Portal email immediately once all steps completed, and some are waiting for more than month to get that email
