@legalfalcon Good Morning, inland spousal with overseas dependent child (Jamaica) I’ve received invitation to the portal however I’ve not received PPR for dependent child. Must I still send credentials? As instructions states “you and and every family members should be in the country to use portal”.

But on July 22nd 2021 I got email to provide the supporting document for Proof of Relationship and

Finally got some movement on our application, got the first email from Virtual landing unit yesterday, the only thing is I dont understand why would they send me anything first as I am dependent inland and my wife who is the PA is outside Canada, we are from eastern Europe.
Is it fair to hope that she would soon receive any requests for address and photo confirmation?

This is so scary, looks like IRCC agents do not have up-to-date information.

Not even that, i have called them 3 time since june
First time only security reaming
Second time same things
Nd third time they said everything is passed nd lady told me specifically that next time you will hard the final decision…

My medical got approved on 19th oct 2020, today I got a ghost update and medical status is changed to “medical not needed”. Is this ghost update a good sign ?

Unfortunately, no. It means your medical expired. waiting to be either extended or requested by IRCC. I guess you will not receive the portal before that. Same boat here.

Ah ok, so how will we get to know in case it is extended? Will it be updated in the portal?
Right now my medical status is : YOU DO NOT NEED MEDICAL EXAM, WE WILL LET YOU KNOW IF IT CHANGES.

I think they will let us know. you will be extended if you meet the requirements of the new rule, and your outland dependent is very likely to be requested. I assume once both passed the medical, it will show a new date, "you passed the medical, 15 September 2021", something like that. This may take a while. The other day, some one mentioned 40 days......Ours expired on Sat. so another round of waiting......

Hi, my medical expired back in November 2020. Just this month, July 2021 it changed to Medical exam review: Medical passed.
