Well, as per cic, if its not in english or french then you need to translate. So i would say that it needs to be translated to avoid potential painful delay by cic. we need to go by their instructions simply even if it costs 100-500$. what choice do we have to avoid delays from ircc.
Its already costing heavily on time and mental stress hence if we can avoid some by spending few hundred then we should, no choice.
Just got a request to submit all pages of all travel documents.
I have a bunch of stamps in Russian, does it mean that I need to translate every one of it?!
Based on the tracker, I think you're from Taber, AB. If I'm right and you're also unlucky enough to get your file assigned to the Calgary office, then we're both in for a very, very long wait. Calgary seems to be primarily working on issuing tests for 2019 applicants right now, with barely any movement for 2020.

so it could come at any time. Pre test or post test. Isnt it a requirement to send the non-blank passport pages as part of the initial application? Why are they asking again?

No, sending all pages with the passport with the initial application became a requirement only after June 16th 2021. Not before that. So, anyone who applied before that just submitted bio pages of the passport as per the instruction guide at the time.
