It means Background check has started and you will get another GU, then final step Virtual landing process

My timeline:
AOR - June 15, 2021
Medical Passed - July 13, 2021
Biometrics Not Needed- July 13, 2021 (Were completed earlier in 2019)

Now my background check is being processed:
"We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. "

Already super anxious and hoping I'll get an update in the following weeks

My temporary UCI also changed to the permanent one.
My wife is a Canadian citizen, but the system doesn’t care and treats her as a non-Canadian dependent (while she is not even a dependent as she is already a Canadian citizen). After medical passed, she is no longer listed as my dependent which means the officer crossed her off my list of dependents.

My BG changed to "In Progress" on July 05 when I had a Ghost update. On July 19 (After two weeks) I had another Ghost update but BG is still "In Progress". Do you think that I will get the portal email in few days or first BG status should change back to "Processing" and then I should expect portal mail?
I appreciate it if you reply.

It should change back to "processing" again. That's when most people got, but some of them never had any uupdates and directly got portal email..So GUs are good sign......fingers crossed....
