Exactly. I thought that before but was not sure then asked several people who did not received AORs. Almost everyone had work permits remaining for longer durations

They are prioritizing the ones whose permits were about to expire soon in three four months or by the end of the year

A tiny bit of transparency from IRCC on how they are processing applications would be helpful! I don't see why everything with the IRCC is such a big secret all the time - it can hardly be a national security risk posting that information on the internet

The only thing is I'm not actually panicked about my application as there are a lot of us in the same situation. It is just a matter of processing speed rather than something being wrong with our applications.

Maybe the computer just flags applications with shorter permits... to be honest it's all guesswork. It's unbelievable that between everybody on this forum not one of us is friends with an IRCC agent and can grill them for information.
