This is my situation

Hi Thabe,

My status shows "Application received" still and will it change to "In Process" soon?
Medicals passed and received by IRCC already.

Could you please let me know how long it took to change from "application received" to "In process"?

Yes same here applied both in April, PR has progressed but TRV shows no progress.

What is your timeline?

My timeline is as below:

May 22nd 2021 - AOR1
June 8th 2021 - Sponsorship approved and sent to NDVO for further processing
June 8th 2021 - Medical Request
June 13th 2021 - Medicals passed

ECAS currently shows:
Application Received in Permanent residence application status

Any idea if NDVO has opened up and they have started processing. I had also applied for TRV in April 2021, did not receive any response there too.

In my case also it shows medicals received and status is Application received in ECAS.
However you can see a line "You passed the medical exam on so and so date" in your My CIC account. We won't get any notification/message for medical passed.

Also I would suggest you to send a web form and ask them to expedite your application by giving a valid reason

I got TRV for my son in April too. But unable to get the stamping as VFS is not accepting passport for stamping for TRV. Are you able bypass it and get stamping???

No I had to get the stamp from VFS

Guys, 4 months after passing medicals, my daughter's sponsorship application is still in Ottawa. What does this mean ? Do they usually transfer the application to the concerned VO in our home country or its not always the case ? I just called IRCC and they confirmed that application is still in Ottawa.

Sometimes all the processing is done in Ottawa except for the passport request.
