Don’t listen to the call center advise the best way to find out all the notes and everything written it’s a GCMS note you need to pay the five dollars to show you more details not the privacy act

If they would deny your application they already done it In my experience it’s positive
Usually they do background checks after Aip they do first Eligibility then background
I think he/she just giving you the wrong information

living in a precarious situation is very difficult, in my case you are in Canada where you can move forward in your life and make your dreams come true but you are still stuck, you are still a foreigner, who always want to remind him that you are a temporary here ! that you don't have the same rights as the others, that you still have obstacles, that you have to think twice and do procedures and give explanations for the least of things in your life, its harder for people who really love canada who consider themselves canadian, my son suffers literally because of his attachment and his love to canada

if it can be of any consolation, I have been citizen for 5 years, I am public servant and I am still being reminded fairly regularly that I am not really Canadian.

Even Montreal immigration officer dismissed my support letter for my partner's HC, along with all other letters, and wrote "authors are new to Canada". We are new to Canada = we have no voice.
And guess what? For his 3rd HC we only submitted letters from "white" Canadians with German, French and English names. Are you surprised he got approved this time?

oh my god, a canadian is someone who has canadian citizenship, by birth, by descent, by naturalisation its not important.
5 yers in canada is a long time, you are not new in Canada !
in my case all support letters are from canadian citizens, some are born here but they are not europeans, others are canadians by naturalisation but others are caucasian...
i hope that everything will be okay.

It is actually almost 9 years in Canada for me - 5 as citizen, 4 as PR: still, I am "new to Canada" for that officer...

HI Ayanna , it's been 6 month my application is in process last time i ordered GMC note it was showing that work permit assigned to senior officer for decision,2021/02/ Do you think they refused my work permit ? I ordered GMC note again to see what's going on with my case.
