Yes my application is still stuck with RCMP criminality check. I have ordered ATIP from RCMP and CBSA. as well. I received IRCC GCMS notes last month which didn't really help me in understanding why would my application be stuck for so long with Criminality. As I mentioned earlier that I hold a high level security clearance pass where past 10 years of employment and address history was declared. Usually RCMP takes 3 months to process the Clearance but mine just took 15 days not sure why they are taking so long for issuing clearance with citizenship application. My application has been in registry since Feb 2020.

Can you check your paper file history and see anything as TFR-Clearances ? If RCMP takes 3 months then IRCC is taking another 3 months to update or perhaps RCMP is taking longer time. Another conclusion is that your clearance must be done but your file has been sitting in the registry as no officer is being assigned to it or none picking it up.

Couple of days to 10 days. Varies but usually happens pretty quickly.

Let's hope soo my test status gets updated this week.

It depends on the officer , the office and your case file and in some cases if the officer likes your face or not. Now for me everything was quick till i had the interview with the officer and now it has been 23 months and nothing. Officer did not like my face, she said my face reminded her of Captain Jack sparrow .

In that case I wish you were my officer I would be a Canadian citizen by now , btw I was about to tell me officer that she reminded me of Captain Salazaar but imagine if its 23 months could be 23 years if i said it.

I think they are just too sensitive to the climate change there while here in Montreal they are trying to figure out which pandemic are they going through covid 19, 20 or 21 , even Covid is confused as they cant make up their mind.

Due to some changes in the immigration law in the other country, I cannot have my Canadian one approved before October 2023. Basically, the requirement to register for nationality in the other country is extended from one year to two years residence. I applied in September last year, should I inform CIC that I shall be away until say, end of 2022, such that they will not process my application before then. Or, if you would think it would be safe to assume the process would not be completed before 2024 for me?

Just saw an update.. The citizenship test has been marked as complete as of 5th July 2021.

Just an FYI. My spouse's Citizenship test status has been updated to complete. Mine is still in progress. She did the test a couple of hours after me.

All other statuses are still In progress, except Citizenship ceremony (Not started).

Thanks for updating the spreadsheet. The "Oath Letter date" is the date when you receive the oath email, not the status update on the dashboard.

Kindly post an update or update the sheet once you receive the email with the oath invitation which usually happens around a week before the ceremony.

Hi All , I am new to this forum.

Received a FP requests today ( status updated in portal no letter or email so far) just for one applicant in the family and the other members status update remains same as of ( April 23 , 2021).

I dont have any criminal records and is this something to worry about?

No. A few people do receive FP for their criminality clearance so getting one isn't out of the ordinary.
