ITA- April 1, 2021
Upfront medicals- October 1, 2020 (done for work permit- the lawyer said apply with this one, if they'll ask a new one, you can do it later )
Submitted profile- June 1, 2021
AOR- June 1, 2021
Medical Passed - Jul 2,2021
Biometrics - I can see my biometric info at the application page (means I am okay) but they request biometrics only from my spouse. but the problem is, he already gave biometrics in Canada and got a work permit with that biometrics last Decemeber!
Is it normal? Does he need to give a new biometric?
Are in in-land or outland tho ? try to find another approved physician maybe ? Waiting till December would be hell of waiting game. also the processing time is around 6 months..... it would defer your application further..
So, I just noticed that for Express Entry as well IRCC specifies that if the applicant is already in Canada then they may be exempt from medical exam. See this link of information for Medical Exams for Express Entry. My current application is in Express Entry CEC. Based on the information on the page I just shared, I am thinking that I should upload the information printout sheet that I received for the last IME I got done for my student visa application. I will also include a letter of explanation. Am I misunderstanding the info on this IRCC page?
