If the principal applicant is already in Canada on a visitor visa and has received pre-arrival and decision made on the PR application, what's the next step? Do they still send out PPR? Anyone with the same experience?

Today I received pre arrival and also update police clearance request.
They asked for pictures of my last visit.

not sure if I can make pdf of pictures in black and white and send it or it has to be by mail ?
Didn't they specify in email? I'm pretty sure they would allow you to scan and upload the pictures.

Hey Guys,

I applied for my wife in December 2019 and received "Pre-arrival Services" access on April 13th. We are waiting for her PPR and this is getting a bit ridiculous as it's been almost 2.5 months. Would like to get your insights, please!

Here is the timeline:
-Paper application sent to Nova scotia: Dec 13, 2019
-Biometrics and medical request received: Jan 3rd, 2020
-Sponsor eligibility confirmation letter received: Jan 13, 2020 (Sydney NS)
-Biometrics Completed: Jan 14, 2020
-Medical completed: Jan 21, 2020
-Application transferred to LVO on Feb 14, 2020. Informed by Sydney office
-AOR by LVO: Aug 11, 2020
-ADR (Updated schedule A and an updated Police character certificate request received) Dec 14, 2020. Documents submitted and acknowledgement received: Dec 19, 2020
-Updated medical request received: Apr 12, 2021
-Pre-arrival services access received: Apr 13, 2021
-Application status updated from "In Process" to "Decision Made" on the online tool on Apr 15th, 2021
-Medical completed May 6th, 2021
-Medical status changed to completion/passed on online account: May 20th, 2021

No further communication received yet!

Have sent multiple emails and submitted webforms but as usual, COVID is the excuse.

I am sure I am not the only one who is getting crazy and upset with this insane delay but would love to get your insights. I have gone through multiple timelines above and it doesn't make any sense for later applicants to receive PPR before earlier applicants especially when all documents are clear.

Also, has anyone else been waiting for PPR where it's been over a month after pre-arrival or medical.

Much Appreciated!

Yes, Waiting DM & PPR , its almost 55 days after pre arrival..... Jan 2020 application. Move to (LOV).

Its seem application is selected for deep security check and may take years.

ALSO sponser clear all outstanding with CRA & should be a good tax payer.

My husband got a letter for an interview, I am very concerned because it said it will take 6-12 months for our interview to be held. Is there anyone here who is in the same situation? how long is the average waiting period before an interview?

they just gave me one file upload for both pictures/police certificate. and its less than 5MB. so i am going to put my pictures in word document and also scan police certificate and copy to same word document and send it.

Anyone know if sending an email through web form or the direct email to London VO works better to get a response? I wanna email to ask about my wife's file.

I would say webform; I sent an email to LVO over 2 months ago and haven't received a response.
Yeah I sent through both ways just now. I'm going to bug them until they process our case. Funny story, my cousin who's wife got her passport request like a couple weeks ago. Kept bugging them, and his English is not the best lol. He sent his application in like Oct-Nov 2020.

Both of our wife's are in Karachi too. Happy for him but it sucks how they aren't doing cases in order.
