Anyone knows how much this step will take?
Because lot of people with aor after april are getting confirmation for pr.

So called IRCC today and came to know VO is vancouver (But I live in Toronto), and
Eligibility - passed
Security - not started
Criminality - under progress

The agent spoke so fast, that I didn't even understand what he said after criminality, uhhh. Next time probably will put phone on speaker and have to record the call from laptop in order to understand what has passed and what has not lol

hi friends trying to call agent from yesterday but no luck and the automated message states we are processing your background and the eligibility is being reviewed is that a sign of improvement ? However 3 weeks back they said only security pending . Bit confused

Hi Finally, I caught them (CIC representative) today......

Updates are as follows...

CEC with spouse and 1 child (all inland)
AoR: April 23rd, 2021
Medical: May 11th, 2021

Called CIC today for the 1st time....

Told that everything is passed and going smoothly so far... and only Security is remaining...

Criminality is passed 2-3 day ago... (I can match that with my GU that I got on April 15th)....

Any idea how long it might take to pass this last step? What are actually checked in this stage (Security) ?

Thank you! yes, I believe they're processing much faster than before. I could never imagine getting approval within 2 months. I was planning everything in my life as if I will get it in October.

Eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: May 14, 2021 You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents: We do not need additional documents.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

I got it from agent. Online status still says 'we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.'

Try calling them around 8AM EST. You should be able to get through after about 20-30 mins wait or if you schedule a call back.
