They haven't cancel 18,000 CSQs guys. They cancel 18k application requests for CSQs under Mon Project, it was like a lottery draw to obtain the CSQ.
Not exactly, the 18000 files were already selected, and maybe half of them were in process when they canceled them...
Mine for example was almost processed... Hopefully I was saved because I came to Quebec in march 2019 and they made an exception for those living in Quebec in june 2019.
Well if you don’t have an AOR in 1 year how can you stay calm? Not having an AOR means your process is not yet started, no guarantee of your file completeness and you are at the same submission stage even after 1 year of submission. You can’t plan anything but stuck and thinking all the time about any miracle to happen. So basically we’re all in limbo until at least receive an AOR.
I don't mean to add to your stress but I thought I would share this info. I had applied for federal with my CSQ in October 2019 and I submitted request for cancellation of that app in November 2020 and moved to Ontario to apply under CEC.
They refunded the full application fee meaning for the 13 months from Oct 2019 - Nov 2020 they had not done any processing on my QSW file.
815 days are you inland?
You are right, I know it’s a horrible lengthy process but AOR gives you a sigh of relief and you can plan things accordingly while waiting for the other steps to come.
Good luck!
Does it really matter whether I am inland or outland after 815 days?
I've applied years before many of present-day inlands set foot in Canada.
Even somebody were from Mars, he would not have waited this long

I was just curious since they were processing inland faster during the Pandemic international travel restrictions.

Thanks for sharing your story. I know two guys who did the same and now they are PR. We are deceived by the new Arrima program, thought it would streamline the process and make it faster.

I waited 17th months for it. And you can see people with more than 20 months without it. Now they are sending AOR's, but we waited for around 16 months where no one knew what was happening.

Very likely DM today
Guys, I sent my permanent residence application at the beginning of this year but after discussing the topic with some friends recently somebody mentioned that if you flag pole you should mention it in the travel history, I did flag pole to get my PGWP but I did not include it in my travel history, will this cause a problem for me? if yes is it possible to amend that document?

As soon as you get the AOR you can send the amended document through webform. I would not worry too much before that.

I've checked your timeline. Medical passed on May 5 and Pre-arrival on May 28. For me pre-arrival like you on May 28 and medical passed on June 11 (medical request on May 26). You're are waiting around 41 days since your Medical passed. It's likely I have an extensive security check. Are you from or traveled to a country that increase the chance of extensive security check? So far I saw 3-4 people here that got their COPR in 2 month. I'm just curious how many people passed their medical in 2021 and are waiting more than 2-3 months for their COPR. I have a job offer from outside Quebec and an ITA for CEC. I have trusted Quebec government multiple times and I always disappointed. It seems finding realistic data is difficult.
Today I tried to call at 1-888-242-2100 (Canada Client Support Centre) to know the status of my application. After entering details about my UCI & XEP Number (which is also a EP Number), I heard a recorded voice that
"your application was received on 31Aug2020. We are pleased to confirm we received your application. We will update the status of your application when the process starts."
I dialed "0" to talk to the agent to know the more details about my file but due to high volume of call, line disconnected.

I am not sure what do you want to hear from them. They are processing now April 2020 seems.
