in my opinion there’s only two reasons to keep your application not in process first one because of your federal court they might be freeze your application or your application in process I haven’t been updated in Ecase yet

my spouse had an outstanding federal court appeal when he applied for HC in 2019. And indeed, they did not open file for processing until he lost the appeal. So I concur with Ayanna.

I heard couple applicants got there approvals while they had federal appeal still going on!! I dont even know how they work anymore, lets wait and see.

I think it is very inconsistent from case to case and from officer to officer... GCMS notes would be useful for sure.
