Got ghost update in my profile. It says Profile updated outside. When opened the application there is nothing. At least something happened. I don't get email ghost updates.

First of all, I don't want to discourage you by stating my story. I applied for TRV in Feb and PR on March. I wasn't sure how long it might take to process my PR and with the current COVID situation in India it was essential to have a VISA for traveling in case of any medical emergency back there.
As I am CEC inland with inland dependent , my PR was approved in late May ( did not expected to be processed this quick under the current timelines).
My TRV application is still in "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility." stage, which means that they have not started reviewing my TRV application.
I think for cases where PR and TRV applications are going side by side, they prefer processing the PR.
If you want then you may try calling IRCC to request for prioritizing the TRV application before PR. But I wouldn't suggest this.

yes, I too like to get my PR processed so that my 2.5 years old son get PPR and I can travel to India to bring my son without being worried about how negatively affects my travelling in the processing of PR application

AOR March 22, 2020. Last status was criminality in process. Security not started. Details in Signature

Seems like there are talks about reopening the borders soon .. but this is just speculation. No idea when it would open

@harsh_8081 Did you update the same one or was there a response from the IRCC on this ? I received the same request for my dependents and there medicals are still valid till September.

I called IRCC and the agent asked me to get my wife's medical done again to increase the validity of the outland medicals. My security is also passed and to finalize the application, they asked for my wife's medical again. She did her medicals again on May 29.

EE MPNP applied since 2018 Oct, no one touched my profile at CIO for a year, got married 2019 Oct, our PR was approved at the end of March 2020 but landing interview got cancelled. Tried raise web forms, emailed 3 times to the local CIC office, tried to apply TRV, all of these tries had either no reply or ask us to wait. Emailed the local CIC office last week for the 4th time, and yesterday finally I got a reply with the landing portal just for myself. Now I am just waiting for the photo review and PR card and to book a flight for my wife. I want to share this with everyone here, something good is happening, and keep our hope. I hope everyone gets good news very soon.

Origin was China, I don't think it is because of the origin, since my friend that has the exact same condition as me got approved in 3 months. the only difference was my profile was sent to CIO and his was sent to Montreal office. it is just purely random

there is no problem to use those to come back, but if they decide to finalize your application you have to declare to them that you are currently in Canada
