Wait - if you answered No in first question Have you lived in a designated territory/country... then that might be wrong, which country are you from? Check the list of countries which are designated and where medical are required here:
it doesnt matter if it gets expired once you have entered but it is a rule that during your entry at PoE , if you have an expired medical, you will be issued a study permit for a max duration of 6 months..
I have a question about my GIC certificate (investment directions actually) -- i purchased GIC last year while applying for SP in Mar 20 and used the same GIC Investment Directions this year as well.. should I have taken a new one from Scotiabank? Or is it fine? They can always verify with Scotiabank if they think I have withdrawn the money right.. any ideas?

Lots of late April and May SDS applications are stuck from what I can observe on their threads on this forum. But @rogerdude1 may be right, all decisions may soon come all at once.. but rejections are still coming in.. so i think if your SP application has crossed , say, 25-30 days then chances of rejection are lower.
Actually Who approves the visa decision on study permit...whether it is approved in Ottawa or the Canadian high commission of India or the high commission of respective nations? I am curious on how this process flow goes? Does our application goes to canada
