I only wrote OPTION A in the first line in the email and then info for my wife and me. In the first email I explained the option in my own words, for example "I would like me and my wife to have only one account". I assume sending the second email worked because I got the login info within two hours.
I got my first email on May 24th, my dependent and I both got the email. I replied on the same day from my email and my dependent replied too, we chose option A to use my email only. On the 27th I resent my reply but reworded my email slightly. On 28th afternoon I received the credentials.

This is pretty much what I did as well. I just started with a Hello officer, I made it more clear I want option A and under that put my information and my dependents information and ended with thank you.
I forwarded them all necessary information- my lawyer prepared the email and I just sent it. I'm just wondering that now it looks like it's been delayed. For most of the people it took 2 days - for me it's already 4 (if we count weekend)
Awesome, you did great for provided everything they needed. I just check VAC it seems not open yet, so nowadays, I don't think they will arrange us interview-in-person. However, I found this old news from them, not sure if it's valid or not.
I was also trying to see the difference between LVO/CPC/OSC, etc., I think it is only named differently in a different region, they are institution all works the same under IRCC, I don't think you will be treated differently with different VO, hope that helps you guys to relax a little bit.
Permanent residence:
IRCC offices in Etobicoke and Montréal are reopening for permanent residence-related services. Clients who require a permanent resident card (PR card) pick up or permanent residence determination (interview to determine the client’s status) will be contacted by email to schedule an appointment. Thank you. You can check on ECAS anytime you want. However, by the time your applications progress, you won't be able to see that on ECAS again.
We removed your application from the tool
After we make a decision, we eventually remove your application from the CAS tool. The length of time depends on the type of application.
Permanent resident applications: 180 days after you arrive in Canada
Permanent resident card applications: 30 days after you get your card
Citizenship applications: 180 days after we make a decision
Visa applications: 365 days after you were refused, you withdrew or your application expired
@vvin.win or anyone else could please answer my below question
For the port of entry question: is it okay to just write the name of the airport including the city or must provide the full address of the airport??
I am asking because I received an email this morning asking me to respond to the UCI etc question after already responding to it on Friday.... thought maybe I missed something
Hi Temitee, UCI and the POE are different questions.
UCI means your ID, show on AOR, too. which stands for unique client Identifier.
Locations-Port of Entry means where did you enter the country (Canada) on the last time? I just simply tell them the city name+province.
For example: Calgary, AB/ Vancouver, BC/ Toronto, ON/Montreal, QC (these 4 cities are popular answers because they have international airports.)
I hope my answer helps.
I think you were right. They have mentioned it on Twitter before.
"Sending multiple emails with information could result in delays or refusals."

Link is not relevance to our context, It is for extended family member of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, you need a written authorization from IRCC.
Hi Priya and GB94, I have the same email address from them as well.
I think there is 5 Virtual Landing Unit. 3 of them are in Ontario. If it says OSC/CPC Ottawa, then yes it is from Ottawa.
Etobicoke is not on the list tho, I am guessing they might be assisting for the Mississauga Office or other VLU.
