Hi , does anybody know about this??
I sent my PR paper application to cic on Sep 17, i received MR and I got MP after 2 weeks. Now CIC requested police certificate from my original country, but when I sent my application on sep 17 I did include POLICE CERTIFICATE from my country.
so why do they asked again for police certificate?

Sometimes police clearance certificate are good for 6 months. Due to COVID it might be expired and now they started working on your criminality and need new one. PCC is only good for 6 months validity.

But I also did send them Canadian police certificate and it was 9 months ago, will they request new one again?

No they don’t need Canadian pcc as you are already residing in Canada now. It was never mandatory to send Canadian pcc .

may bro and when u send ur application to ircc bro tell me the date r u from September application also

My AR is same like u September 11, 2020. Got AOR Feb 15, 2021

Hello. Would you please tell me if we get any notification when the application reaches to IRCC? Like do we get any email for AR or it is considered the date when application reaches to office?

Hi,

The only way to get a sort of confirmation for AR is getting a temporary file number but it might take a few months after AR to be able to get TFN.

In the meantime, you can see if you can get a delivery confirmation from the courier. I sent it with FedEx and they provided me a delivery confirmation when I requested it.

Ideally eligibility should be first check but I have seen in forum that some passed backgrounds check but eligibility not started yet
