I received a Police Clearance Certificate Request for my parents. They are in Karachi, Pakistan and our VO is London, UK:
Updated police certificates from all districts/areas for yourself, your dependent spouse and all dependent children who are over 18 years of age. They must be from ALL the districts and areas where residence was for more than six months. If you have recently (within the past 6 months) submitted a police certificate to our office, please take this opportunity to resubmit that police certificate.
My question is: how far back do I need to go for the Police Clearance Certificate Request? My parents lived in another city (Islamabad, Pakistan) between 1994-1997. Do I need to go that far back?
Most applicants sent PCC that extended only up to 10 years back as filled in travel history forms of parents.
In some cases, IRCC has asked for previous dates extending several years.
In my opinion, preparing PCCs as per filled in travel history form will be helpful to the case officer.

Hi everybody; Criminal and security checks
Members of the family class and their accompanying family members must not be inadmissible to Canada for security, human or international rights violations, criminality or organized criminality (sections A34 to A37).
Generally, applicants and family members 18 years of age or over must provide police certificates, clearances or records of non-conviction for
the current country of residence, if the applicant has resided there for 6 months or more,
and the country where the applicant has spent most of their adult life since the age of 18. If they were under the age of 18 when they lived in these countries, this information is not necessary.
An officer may still request additional police certificates for any additional countries in which the applicant may have resided if there are concerns that rise to the reasonable grounds to believe threshold.

- IMM 5562: Supplementary Information - Your Travels form: https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5562e.pdf " So they only asked these docs (Apart from PCC) from my mother (who is the principle applicant) but not my Father(who is dependent in application). Should my father also provide these docs as well in advance or how does it work???

oh damn.. things are not good down there. I reeeeally hope ur case gets finalized soon so they can come over. Hopefully they were able to get vaccinated already?
I had a slight movement when I asked for the GCMS notes. Last update I had before then was from Sep 2019 (sponsor - DM) and then around the time I asked for the notes they started the PR application (Feb 2021) - nothing since. No requests for updates, medical or biometrics either.
It has been over 2 years now but with this whole COVID and my application in Mexico, who knows when they will actually process it
I applied for my parent's PR back in June 2019. Today I saw an update saying we started processing your application on April 27 2021. Any Idea what that means ? Haven't received any medical/biometric/pcc request :-(

For people whose cases are processed by CPC-M, how long does your ME get approved after the hospital uploaded the results? I saw many people say exactly two weeks?
