Hey guys,
I noticed that IRCC website has changed the requirements for Biometrics in the website since I applied. Formerly, it was said that “you are exempt from giving biometrics if you have given it during the past 10 years AND it was for a PR application”; but now the website says something else and it seems the less than 10 year old biometrics are still valid if they are given for a temporary resident visas as well.
Am I right??? And if so, we should expect a refund for that amount?

Hi guys, I applied in international graduate stream .I have question regarding form imm 0130. In work history section of form Imm0130 I messed up everything thing. I mentioned that i have 1 year of essential work experience that I didn’t lie. I have 1 year of amazon work experience in noc code 6622 (order fillers). But my start date in job letter that I received from amazon is wrong and they refused to write down my job duties. Can anyone tell me what should i do now?

This one. I had forgotten about IRCC not counting anything above 30 hours per week, and instead just counted the total cumulative hours worked. As my work experience was already cutting close to 1 year or around the 1-year mark, as of May 6 (the day I applied for the TR to PR pathway), if I used the IRCC guideline, I only have just a few hours to meet the 1,560 hours, otherwise if I used the total actual number of hours worked, I would have exceeded the 1,560 hours.

By the time IRCC does send me the AOR (I still have my PCC and medical pending to do), I definitely would have surpassed the 1,560 hours worked, if using the IRCC guideline to count number of hours worked (I'm currently working in this job in a permanent position). I am hoping IRCC will take into account of that.
I think that might be a problem, for EE it certainly is.

For EE your data gets “locked” at the time of the ITA and time of the AOR, if your EE score changes during this time, you application might be rejected if by the time of AOR your score has gone down enough to be below the minimum cutoff for that round. If by the time you get an ITA you don’t meet the minimum entry criteria, you’re out even if you become eligible later on because at the time of getting the ITA, if you don’t meet MEC you shouldn’t have been awarded the points that granted you an ITA to begin with.

I work 40h/week too, I was one day short of my one year for CEC in the last EE round (Thursday, my 1st year was on Friday), so as painful as it was I had to wait and might apply next time.

I asked to a lawyer, in the forum, on Reddit...Everyone said the same.

@Frisk please can you assist?
Try raising a web form with your UCI to see if it can be withdrawn. You could also request to get your payment refunded. In this way, IRCC won't process your application if they see that the payment has been refunded.

Here's how you can request a refund from the payment portal:

Note that it takes up to 8 weeks for payments to be refunded, so there's no guarantee that it will be refunded before the processing begins.

Since the application was online but there’s no AOR yet, a webform with a letter and a signature. For paper-based PNP before AOR that’s how you do it.

If not, you’ll have to wait for AOR and risk losing $550 processing fee.

Another option is to request a refund so if its processed before AOR your app won’t pass the completeness check and will be rejected/returned right away.

To be sure you’re making the right steps, I think calling IRCC at 8:00am will be more helpful, I say that time because ever since May 6th their lines seem to be very busy.

I am worried concerning fees in my TR TO PR APPLICATION. As the guide suggests to pay the processing fee with the right of a permanent resident. I paid only the processing fee of 550 as we had difficulty accessing the payment portal so many times that the successful attempt accepted on my card was only 550.

I am perplexed about what would happen... Is anyone got AOR for an international graduatesstream?

I am guessing you applied under Essential Workers stream. If so, you don't have to upload the student permit because this is not your current status in Canada. Your current status here should be on PGWP, hence you should upload only the PGWP. Already having your PGWP is proof of your completed Canadian higher education credentials.

Thank you for your answer.
I actually applied international stream so I am worrying about that :(

Even though I did not upload the student permit that is already expired last year, I uploaded the official transcript and diploma and PGWP, so these documents can be the proof of authorization to study right ?

the reason why I uploaded just pgwp, according to public policy for new pathway program, it required me just only current visa. not expired one.
So I didn't prepare for my student permit that is already expired

For the "Proof of authorization to study", you had to upload your study permit. PGWP and your education credentials are not proof of study, they want to see that you were studying legally in Canada.

Unfortunately, you really can't do much now other than wait for AOR and raise a web form to submit the study permit.

Do you think it could be a reason that idcc can refuse my application ?
I don't think they will refuse mine.. because other documents are perfect.
