New PR confirmation portal

My PR card application got approved yesterday. They have mentioned your PR card has sent to you and you will receive it in 4 weeks. Anybody with the same status?

How do you find this out?

just to update I never recieved portal information after email response to Ottawa office. I recieved COPR for whole family in email. The COPR are valid for 1 year and I need to post a photograph along with letter for PR card. So no phone call no portal just an email which I think was landing,

It’s the standard template response. I got my PR card after a week of approval from Sydney. I think Sydney prints all the PR card for applicants who went through the PR confirmation portal regardless whether you got the credentials from Etobicoke or Calgary.

Then you won’t go through the PR confirmation portal. That’s the old way of “landing” inland applicants since flagpoling is no longer allowed due to covid.

Wait till you get your PR card before you leave. The PR confirmation portal asks you to declare that you’re in Canada in order to receive your COPR. Leaving Canada kind of opposes that declaration, isn’t it? Plus if you ever get COPR outside of Canada then your other temporary visas will get cancelled in the process. You need to apply for PRTD in order to return to Canada. The timelines for PRTD is unpredictable atm.

Hey guys, I replied to my email for name uci and date of entry nd all that but I accidentally sent them my application number instead of the uci then i sent a 2nd email with the right uci. But now i am worried could it affect my PR result because I haven’t got any reply yet its been 4 days

I got the confirmation of Permanent Residence Confirmation Portal email. I am now filling in the original entry date. I came to Canada in Nov 2014 for a 10 day visit. Then I came in August 2015 as a student. Now I am on a PGWP. Would my original entry date be Nov 2014 or August 2015?

In my case, it says up to 6 weeks.
Do not know why it takes so long to receive a letter.
