Greetings from my side . I am FSW-O with AOR 14 oct 2020 , I have just got off a call with ircc regarding updates of my application. The agent was generous enough and she told me that my eligibility, criminality and info sharing are complete / passed but security hasn't started yet.

I want ur kind thoughts on what I should expect next , when would my security start and how much time does it take? Whether info sharing is part of security? What could b the possible reason of delay? Whether according to u my file is in perfect health as of now or not ?

My VO is CPC Ottawa . Thanks in advance ☺

Got a GU yesterday or may be before that. Found it while checking my account yesterday. Don’t know what’s awaiting for me. AOR Oct 18.

Today I called IRCC to understand what has changed to my account after the ghost update. I was told that eligibility has changed to conclusively pass from in progress. But to my surprise the agent told me that my criminality is in progress. I was informed during last conversation a month ago that it got passed. Then the agent told that, it’s in progress for my spouse.
Anyone has similar experience?

Hi to all. me and my friend has same employer and same timeline. He got an email on pr confirmation portal last week, and i didn’t receive mine. Is there any chance that mine will take so long? @legalfalcon

My friend received PR confirmation Portal. He replied with Name, UCI, Email, Date of Entry and Port of Entry.
Today he got another email that stating: "pls re-read the first email and send us the requested information"

Does anybody know what to reply to first email from IRCC? Is there any specific format to reply?

Call from IRCC on May 10 2021, questions about current location for all the people on the application.
File approved 10th May 2021, Copr documents with photos required to be sent by mail for PR card.

Security only starts after eligibility has been conclusively passed. See #4,004

Security will depend on whether you are in Canada or outside Canada. For inland applicants, the process is fairly quick as they go through a record check. For outland applicants they go though a security screening, but this differs from case to case. On an average as per the security screening manual it takes 110 days for the security screening to be done. This is average and can take much less or longer.

Having the same employer, date of birth, AOR date has nothing to do with when a decision will be made on your application. Each application is processed on its own merits and may factors such as VO, staffing, your country of residence and origin matter.

What matters is what stage your application is at and and if it is progressing well.

All application go though the following:

All EE application will go through the following stages:

1. R10 (completeness Check)
2. Criminality (based on PCCs and the biometrics you provide)
3. Medicals
4. Eligibility
5. Security

There is no format, this email is sent when information provide is not correct. So check the name (Given name), UCI etc.
