More importantly it looks like there will be a place to submit Medicals and PCC and you might even get away with submitting a recent one provided they deem it okay for the application.
"You will need to provide IRCC evidence you have applied to complete your medical exam and are seeking police clearance certificates. IRCC suggests that you submit your old medical exam if you have it so it can advise you later in the application process whether you will need to submit another one."
"IRCC expects to be able to process a total of 40,000 permanent residence applications under the streams in 2021. This means that the majority of applicants can expect to obtain their permanent residence status in 2022." - Bummer
I'm a bit bummed with processing times, not even half of the applications are going to be processed this year...Which makes me wonder, how is IRCC going to process those?
By stream? ex. healthcare workers get priority (?)
By date of submission? (aka May 6th applicants have more chances of getting it early)
By completeness? (aka people who upload medicals and pcc upfront?)
This has made me decide to apply for CEC as well as soon as I'm eligible. Sorry but I don't think I can trust IRCC with processing times. At all.

According to this chatty lawyer, you need to upload something in order to be able to submit your application. So, you will need to upload SOMETHING. That can be a confirmation of appointment in the future.
