Not a wise move. You should apply for a new wp before the old one expires at least 4-6month. I hope your status won't change into inadmissible (Living in Canada without any permit)
there's a reason why there is a 21months processing time. You see lots of cases here are done within 8-11 months and you think your case will be the same.
What if you can save a bit of money at this moment and you regret it later?
I see lots of applicants got Dm and Copr on the same day.
Now it's been 19 days after DM without any email from IRCC for me. I've searched my case, there're some cases had DM 4 months ago and have not had CoPR.
Be careful. Those paper work is not a joke.

You can be in big trouble if your status expires or you file wp extension right on time and they refuse it due to any reason and you have no time left
Have to apply for restoration and all
and yes that i guess will trigger delays in your copr or finalization of your application...
Just over dollars and try to be safe
got dm and no sign of copr so never ever assume anything in paper based process

Yes. My case I never give biometric here. I will do it for my PR application when they will send me the form.

I live in Mississauga so I’m assuming that the CoPR would be provided by Mississauga VO. I heard they have a lot of backlogs.
