Vancouver office is damn fast, just saw on FB group, this guy got his test invite today within 6 months.. here is his timeline

Location- Vancouver, BC
Applied - Nov. 20, 2020
AOR - Feb. 16, 2021
Start Processing - Mar. 24, 2021
Exam invitation - April. 23, 2021
Non urgent

I believe our office people are enjoying their vacations somewhere in jasper or Banff.. lol

I hate to say this but for personally interacting with a citizenship and passport processing agent here in Edmonton, I know they are taking their sweet time at least here in Edmonton.

There aren’t that many people from SK being invited for testing for you to say it’s “bad luck”. If anything I’d say you’re likely to get invited faster in AB than SK since AB has a much larger IRCC staffing than SK do. Did you move to Calgary or Edmonton ?

You are wrong. Feb - June are getting invites.

as if we don't pay taxes. It drives me insane that we all have to file taxes with a strict deadline and IRCC have no accountability at all

I got the test invite this morning from Saskatoon CIC office.

My Application was delivered on Jun 5th, 2020, and application in process since Dec 11, 2020.

IRCC agent gave me following details on my application..

The criminality and security verifications are in process.
The immigration verifications have not been initiated.

Anybody know what is immigration verifications here?

Interesting.. mine is also in the same stage.. are you in Alberta ? I’m in Calgary and haven’t really seen much movement around here.. and we’re almost hitting the one-year mark.

I would guess the immigration verifications is Citizenship eligibility ? Or perhaps verify that you have actually complied with your PR status ?
