I totally can not understand why you guys worry about the photo. IRCC only use it as the proof that what you look like. They don’t use it to make any card for example PR card . What you worry about is not necessary

Someone just posted this in the Canadian Citizenship Test group (on FB):
"Application delivered via paper mail: December 2, 2020
Received AOR: Feb 13, 2021
Started processing: Feb 28, 2021
Test Invite: April 15, 2021
Took test: April 19, 2021
Location: Toronto
Decision Made: TODAY!!!!!
Single, not-urgent application."
After my 30th March interview, my status was still "in progress" on 16th April (confirmed through calling IRCC; still can't check my status online haha). Tbh I can't help but compare a little; still I'm not complaining coz I've been pretty lucky too being an early online application. Bottom line: this shows paper based applications can also get quite lucky.
Do you think that while the AOR for online applications is delayed, the processing time of these applications will be faster? I can't decide which is a better way to apply.
I have observed that the paper applicants had been receiving the updates quickly compared to the online on the contrary few online applicants received the updates quicker, since online is the new system the officers are taking time getting used to the system, it is just a matter of time but we don't have a definite short path to take, you may try one which you feel so.
Question to those with Test Invites/AOR's/In Process status....What do you see when you login online in the account that you used to submit the online application? Just curious to learn....
Mind you guys I did a blunder of scanning my photos over uploading the digital one. When I told this to the agent they said they don't see my file and cannot update it. was expecting a return of application.

@namratha_s, Congratulations on your receiving your AOR. And it is good to know that you AOR despite your photo issues. Good relief for someone like me that is worried about my photo dimensions.
Just wondering why your timeline is not on the tracker given that you have been around here for some time.
