Agree now (yesterday I was a little confused and thought that could not) .
You can accumulate your qualifying work experience while studying so long as you had authorization to work at the same time.
The tricky part is if you’ve been granted a credential, finished your course, you need or have applied for a PGWP. Since you’re not allowed to work on a SP.

I guess my problem(If I can call it that) now is that I qualify for both the essential work stream (Primary NOC in ANNEXA) and the international graduate stream, but the choice will probably depend on if I need to submit all my documents on the 6th, since I don't get my parchment until early June and I don't want to take chances after what happened last time around.

Yeah, I'd apply to the stream that you have all documents ready for. By the time your parchment is out, you'd know if your application went through and if not apply to the grad stream.
Well, not surprised. One advantage outlanders have always had over inlanders was the ability to claim points for work done whilst studying. In a sense I knew this was the point of the essential workers stream, and I am pleased workers and students are recognized for their work over the past year and some.
I don't like that guy (Have a general aversion to lawyers), but I will be running in for sure later tonight.
I don't use immigration lawyers but I figured he has a few credentials as being an Ex IRCC officier and being the current Chair, Canadian Bar Association for the National Immigration Section.

Oh yeah, no doubt about that. The current immigration minister actually has quite a few zoom calls/meetings with immigration law/advocacy groups from time to time, some of which are posted on YT. I have actually gotten quite good insights on some programs just by listening to the minister on those calls so I have no doubt this guy has leads with the IRCC decision makers.

While all supporting documentation necessary to assess whether a foreign national meets the conditions of this public policy must be included at the time of application, officers retain discretion to request additional supporting documentation to confirm admissibility and eligibility throughout the processing of the application.
Do you guys if we need police report and upfront medical report at the time of application? how about for spouse, does they need those document too at time of application? or can it be submitted later

I've been following the thread since the beginning and I had a question for you guys that I'm not sure of (and can't reach IRCC). I currently have 2 restaurant jobs but since the indoor eating ban in BC I haven't been getting any shifts since late March and it'll be like this for 5 more weeks. I'm not officially laid off, just don't have any shifts and I'm getting CRB. Would this be a problem when applying? Because it says "employed" and I am employed by 2 different places and not being able to get any shifts is not my fault, it is because of the restrictions, and it's temporary. I can provide proof of employment and my most recent pay stubs.
