That's right. If you're working in Canada or dependent, pls mention you're exempted from current travel restrictions.

Are you currently in Canada or INDIA? If you're in Canada, they will reject the request. You can expect approval only if you're currently in INDIA and have a job / job offer in Canada.

Are you sure about this? I am travelling to the US, waiting for my PPR, I thought I’d get stamping from the US that is if I get PPR. Also I am on work permit, if that helps.

Hi - Did you travel to USA for passport stamping ? Can you let me know if that is a feasible thing to do ?

Can I do something to get it approved when I'm inside Canada?

Unfortunately No. You will have to only wait inside Canada as they do not want people to travel outside Canada.
