Actually as we are approaching to different sources individually so it is not creating any impact I guess... I mean there should be some rule or pressure on the officers to clear off the backlogs first,atleast the application which reached an year of duration... especially the applications which got stucked due to this pandemic beacause of biometrics delay...

Is there any one who applied for extension of workpermit(bridge work permit) and during this workpermit process got their PR approved as the officer will check for complete file and by any chance noticing about the PR application not being touched and luckily instead of work permit, processing the PR . please let me know

It doesn’t work. I had to extend my kid's visa, they had to go on our file and I mentioned that we were waiting for the PR since April last year. Their visa was extended and the FSW remains the same status

In my case myself and spouse are in canada and kid in india so can i apply extension for all of us at a time.. because kid gonna get visitor visa right.. iam worried if they reject his visa.. what do you recommend in my case.. do i have to apply for myself first and then apply for dependants( spouse, kid) .. and please let me know how much time it took for you to get extension ...

It took 2 months for my kids, but we are all in Canada, I don’t know about outside Canada

That petition is quite useless. Most of us if not all have signed it months ago. You cannot twist the arm of IRCC. We just have to keep waiting and hoping that one day, luck will shine on us
