LMIA Based Visa applied from India - 8th Feb
Biometrics- 11th Feb

No update on the medical request.

Anyone got approval of work permit lately? Its been almost 4 weeks since medical and It’s not passed yet. How many weeks before medical approve?

i got my passport request last april 5 got my visa stamp april 12 applying for work permit with lmia

Dear All,

I am preparing my file for LMIA based WP for myself and Open work permit for my wife,
do i need to get experience letter with my job responsibilities with ctc etc.. on company letter head from all past 10 years employers? i changed the job 3 times and in my current company i a from May 2018. can anyone pls guide?

also in form Imm1295 form there is a question as Have you previously applied to enter or remain in Canada?
i have a valid visitor visa for Canada and went to Canada for 3 days in 2019 on official visit so do i need to mention yes here and??

Anyone got approval of work permit lately? Its been almost 4 weeks since medical and It’s not passed yet. How many weeks before medical approve?

I received my WP last Friday 5 weeks after my biometrics were taken. That is in the UK (although on the processing time website it said applications from the UK were taking 3 weeks)

That was fast! Are you sure the processing took only 3 weeks in UK? It’s really fast. Our been more than 3 months since biometrics and medical is not yet passed. It’s getting frustrating.

Hi guys. Did you receive any updates recently?
They are finalizing applications between January 3 and 9, 2021. I submitted my application on November 24, 2020, and still waiting. Although during the last two weeks, I had two ghosts updated. So annoying.

I submitted my application September 2020, medical and biometric passed, Eligibility and background check as been on progress since 24th of November 2020, 2 webform I raised IRCC response was my application is under “Active Review “ . That they are trying to finalize my application as soon as possible.

Absolutely yes, you and all accompany members of your family must go for medical test.

Got the same reply from webform. Its been 3 weeks since i did my medical and still it’s under review. Does it take that much time to review medical? Quite frustrating.
